Think

Here I share my “thoughts”: observations about life that reveal an underlying truth, then remind me how to act with this new insight. Each thought has three parts. Observe what is happening around you. Reveal what is true beneath the surface. Act on that truth with intention.

Rhythm (July 2026)

Life moves chaotically when observed from within. Nature’s apparent random motion reveals a rhythm when observed from afar. Notice when life appears chaotic, then build rhythms to help it flow.

Pressure (July 2026)

Pressure crushes what stands firmly under it. Pressure provides potential energy. Find the energy in pressure, then direct it forward.

Mood (July 2026)

Moods act on the mind, shaping how we act upon the world. Moods carry nature’s signals about what life needs, not walls for the mind to live within. Listen to your mood without fighting it, then patiently help nature pull it back toward center.

Three Modes (May 2026)

Novel ideas that take hold often emerge across conversations that once seemed circular. People observe, amplify, or challenge emerging ideas to shape and understand them. Notice the group’s mood and the state of emerging ideas, then shift your mode to lead.

Learn in Loops (March 2026)

We learn best by asking questions because human interaction deepens understanding. Telling someone what we believe to be true misses an opportunity for the student to teach the teacher. Ask questions to teach and learn, then iterate with others to actively evolve how humans think.

AI Co-Evolution (March 2026)

Artificial intelligence is approaching human intelligence, but it still has much to learn about human consciousness to get there. Safely teaching AI with intention forces me to learn how I think and who I want to be. Train AI to understand me, then co-evolve together toward perpetually deeper shared human consciousness we learn to build.

One-Year Horizon (March 2026)

Many people struggle to look past today’s constraints to imagine a brighter distant future. Sharing distant visions can create fear instead of momentum for some. Envision the distant future beyond today’s constraints, then share next year’s direction.

Reflection in Nature (March 2026)

Insight emerges when there is space and time to reflect. Nature creates that space better than technology. Step away from the noise to find peace, then listen to your thoughts to find truth.

Purpose of a Parent (September 2024)

Parents aim to raise children who become better than them. A better version of yourself is still just you. Raise children to improve yourself, then set them free to become their best self.

Fear → Hope (January 2024)

Fear reveals a deep love for something precious. Beneath each fear lies a hope for something held dear. Dig deep enough under every fear to find its hope, then pull it forward.

Life’s Purpose (May 2017)

The search for life’s purpose is itself the purpose. Each existential crisis reveals the next mission. Embrace each crisis to find the next mission, then embark.
